In depth
Verdict
A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Green Pirate, Majestical and Paddywack and the narrow vote is given to Mistral Sky. The selection was a fair third behind Goodenough Mover last time out and although the drop in trip has to be a concern he looks sure to get the fast pace he needs to be seen at his best and under conditions that suit he looks a value bet in an open affair.Green Pirate rates the main danger on his best form but all his better efforts of late have come over a longer trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Majestical has dropped to a handy mark and with his stable begining to hit form again he could go well at a price. Paddywack was unlucky in running last time and is another with place claims but his best form is on turf and he looks opposable on that basis. Dorchester is another that is thrown in on his best form and with his yard liking a tilt at the ring he is another that should be monitored in the market. Of the others, Bond Playboy has been done no favours by the draw and for the winner we return to Mistral Sky.
