A large field goes to the post for the first on the card but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the main protagonists appear to be Vitelucy, Miss Janica and Moscow Leader and we will take a chance on Vitelucy. The filly from the Sue Willton yard has shown enough on both her runs to date to to suggest she can win a race of this nature and a reproduction of her latest second behind Dancing Pearl would make her hard to beat. Miss Janica rates the main danger on her latest third behind Carpet Princess but she gave the impression she would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for that reason she is opposed on this occasion. Moscow Leader is another worthy of consideration he is one of the least exposed in the field and with his stable in fine form it would be no surprise to see him go close. Of the remainder Wilfram is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market, but we are happy to side with Vitelucy.
