Verdict

Lost In Normandy can make amends for his latest defeat, with Winter Gale and Cardinal Mark seen as his two main rivals. Lost In Normandy tried in vain to make all Huntingdon last time but kept on when headed at the last by Usk Valley and this progressive sort, who does not look badly handicapped, is taken to bounce back with the ground in his favour. Winter Gale was successful between the flags at Garthorpe and was earlier involved in a close finish at Stratford. He has not won under rules though for four years and is passed over. Cardinal Mark had been disappointing since coming over from Ireland until scoring well at Sedgefield in March. He showed a fine turn of foot that day and was probably in need of the run when reappearing at Hexham at the end of May. Charliesmedarlin has a longer absence to overcome but the booking of Mick Fitzgerald catches the eye, but in a weak contest, Lost In Normandy can dominate.
