    In depth

    Verdict

This looks to lack strength in depth and looks to revolve around Gondola, who showed promise over course and distance a fortnight ago, and Kaparolo, who hails from the powerful stable of Amanda Perrett, and he gets the vote. The winner of a maiden over 14-furlongs on the flat, it is possible that he will need further over hurdles to be at his best, especially as he is from the same family as Molesnes, the winner of the Prix Du Cadran. However, Worcester is a wide-open galloping track that should suit him well. Winner of a flat race in Australia, Gondola made an encouraging debut over these brush hurdles when beaten a length by Thumper, with Bearaway, the winner of a bumper and over hurdles, three-lengths away. He is sure to improve on that effort and will be tough to beat. He has nothing to fear from Arzillo on that running. Of the rest, Bubble Up is only selling class, while Secret's Out has been trying to win a hurdle race for over three years, and will have to wait a while yet. So this should boil down to a duel between Gondola and Kaparolo, with the latter taken to come out on top.
