In depth

Verdict

Malakiya and Go West both need respect here however Piran has tithe scope to make a fair chaser and having gone close on his two previous chases, he can make it third time lucky. The selection has been seen over hurdles of late but now returns to fences on ground that will suit. The stable have had a few winners recently and he should go well now back up in trip, having won over three miles in the past. Dusty Dane won well in a poor hurdles race last time but cannot be discounted with confidence high for his chase debut, whilst Malakiya takes a drop in class today and should be more at home. Go West is consistent, and he made a fair debut over fences when second at Bangor. It may be that he can go one better today, but he is yet to encounter ground this quick. At a price Picabo Kid could go well, however it is Piran who receives the vote.
