In depth

Verdict

Four winning pointers are making their debut under Rules in this but CEREAL KILLER looks the most interesting. Paul Nicholls doesn’t have many runners here in bumpers but there are high hopes for the French-bred today, though this is no straightforward task. Global Citizen and Timeforben have also joined powerful NH yards while Hattaab showed promise when favourite at Musselburgh back in January. Supakalanistic is another likely improver and Deyrann de Carjac made his debut in a Class 2 event at Newbury in March so must have been showing something at home.
