Verdict
State The Obvious boasts two seconds and a victory over this course and distance but an 8lb rise in the weights has to be a concern. Galuppi is probably best watched over this extra half-mile but Uncle Percy could be suited by a step up in distance on his handicap debut. Stonemadforspeed is the likely pace angle but has a poor strike-rate and is likely to be swamped again in the closing stages. INNOKO ran a blinder against an in-form rival on the Flat at Yarmouth three weeks ago He may be a couple of pounds too high back over hurdles but a first try over 2m4f might be just what he needs.
