In depth
Verdict
FILE ILLICO took advantage of what looked a useful handicap mark to score at Ffos Las last month and can back up that success off an acceptable 6lb higher mark. He's come to fences early but won his only point-to-point run and the aforementioned chasing debut under Rules. He's worth staying with as more progress is likely. Pencreek didn't shape too badly on chasing debut behind Isolate, although the winner didn't do too much for the form this week. Nevertheless, the gelding should benefit for the run and be involved at the business end. Across The Line is also expected to come on for his chasing debut and the Skelton charge deserves shortlisting.
