In depth

Verdict

Few arrive in good form with comfortable Uttoxeter winner, HELLO SUNSHINE, the notable exception. That was a much improved performance from the mare but it was only her fifth start over hurdles and she's taken to go in again now she has the hang of things. A 6lb rise seems fair. Largy Mouth is interesting insofar as he was punted into favouritism on debut for the Sam England team but came home a modest fifth of eight. He had some respectable form for Brian Ellison and it will be interesting to see if the money comes again. Sir Jack West and Megaudais Speed have claims at their best but both disappointed on their respective seasonal reappearances.
