Brunston has become disappointing over hurdles, as has I Can Run Can You, while Briefcase has had plenty of chances to get off the mark though will probably appreciate the drop in distance. QUOUSKO DE L'ISOP is hardly a confident selection but he has only had seven starts over timber and has shown promise on more than one occasion, most notably when third off this mark at Newbury in March. Midnight Tuesday, a winner at Newbury the same month, is probably the danger as hunter chaser Oca de Thaix may lack the speed for this. Pontyates has ability and, on his handicap debut, could be the pick of the remainder.
