Verdict

ROYAL PRACTIONER produced a shock when obliging over hurdles last year and Fergal O’Brien’s mare is no forlorn hope if the return to the track can reinvigorate her. Princess Midnight bolted up over the course and distance a fortnight ago and there’s an argument to suggest that she could easily have been handed a bigger penalty than the 7lb she has accrued. Annie Nail was the outsider of four when prevailing at Fontwell last time out and that she did so carrying plenty of weight speaks volumes about her resolution. Jubilympics got the better of Une De La Seniere when the pair met over hurdles last month.
