Verdict

Connections of Solo Saxophone attributed last month’s victory down to a return to hurdling and easier ground and while he has the former tonight, he is highly unlikely to experience the latter. Bashful Boy was far from disgraced in the Swinton Hurdle at Haydock but ESPOIR DE TEILLEE is of interest as he makes a rare outing over the smaller obstacles from a mark that is significantly lower than that he has achieved when chasing. Imperial Elysian should be noted in the betting on a first outing for 629 days.
