NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

So pleasing to see Dino Velvet come good again last week as his previous success had come back in 2019. He jumped and travelled beautifully at Uttoxeter under Alexander Thorne, although a rise of 9lb for success in a five-runner affair seems harsh. He's plenty to do at the weights but did create a good impression and it's interesting to see Alan King return him to the fray just nine days later. Elios D'Or was pulled out recently due to the ground and is a big danger off 10-11. He was impressive over course and distance last time and is improving. El Borracho has taken well to fences on both recent starts and is a player too.
