In depth

Verdict

OSCAR ROSE returns to action a stone higher than when landing the first leg of last season's hat-trick. She gets on well with Liam Harrison, whose claim will again prove beneficial. The O'Brien mare should not be inconvenienced by her break and can continue winning ways. Thebannerkingrebel seems to have rather lost his way for one reason or another but was travelling strongly at Hexham before pulling up lame. He's well-handicapped if somewhere near his best. Cotton End has proved a star for Sheila Lewis but is likely to find things harder off her current rating, whilst Your Band has each-way claims off a feasible mark.
