In depth

Verdict

Oscar Star is improving with experience and only found one too good at Chepstow last month. Coded Message, another daughter of Oscar, is a half-sister to the stable’s useful hurdler Midnight Jazz and a newcomer to note. Drinks Interval has shown promise and Annie Angel has won between the flags and is a half-sister to an Irish bumper and hurdles winner. Kim Bailey’s yard is going well, however, and YOU’RE A LADY, a sister to hurdles winner A Shade Of Bay, is from a family that the trainer knows well – she can go one better than at Towcester earlier this month.
