Verdict
A dire contest where we will take a chance on Moral Justice to land the spoils, with Adalie, Yakareem and Mister Magpie other possibles. Moral Justice has been given a bit of a squeak by the handicapper, having run consistently of slightly higher marks in recent times. He goes well on faster ground, sees out the trip fully and with the assistance of Andy Thornton he looks the one to be on. Adalie was a heavy ground winner at Hereford three starts ago and clearly possess some ability, but is not one to rely on. If he is on a going day then she might trouble the judge, but that is far from certain. Yakareem had some fair form to his name on faster ground a couple of years ago, but has not been seen since November 2002 when pulling up at Ludlow. Providing he is fully over those problems he could go very well at a decent price. Meanwhile Mister Magpie is likely to set the pace, having made all for a Stratford win last month. However, a 7lb rise found him out next time and a return to pole position here looks just beyond him. For the winner then, we will go with Moral Justice.
