In depth

Verdict

Simber Hill comes into this in the form of his life and although he has a penalty for his success at Uttoxter, he should complete the hat-trick. The consistent Normarange looks in the grip of the Handicapper now, but Pessimistic Dick, a winner over course and distance last time, from 12lb out of the handicap, might prove to be the main threat. Lightning Quest has yet to prove he stays this far and stablemate April Spirit has plenty to do to turn around the form with Pessimistic Dick.
