      Verdict

      Forever Field is getting 7lb from the two previous winners in this but he has been a little disappointing over fences so far. Newton Geronimo made an impressive start to his chase career at Towcester on his return to action. He won’t go down without a fight but BLACK CORTON was probably a better hurdler and will have gained confidence from a first victory over the larger obstacles at Fontwell. The other pair will be relying on accidents befalling the market principals.
