Verdict
Lunar Exit, Double Aspect and Stagecoach Diamond are three against the field in this maiden hurdle and the vote is given to Double Aspect. The selection has shown enough ability on the flat to suggest that he can get competitive in a race of this nature, and although the market may well provide the clues as to his chance here, we are happy to put him forward as the selection with conditions in his favour. Lunar Exit would ideally be suited by a drop in trip and he is seen to better effect on a softer surface so although he has got an obvious form chance, we are happy to take him on. Stagecoach Diamond ran okay in a bumper at Doncaster last time but his previous win in a bumper at Catterick would make him a leading player here. Anything Sue Smith sends to post in these type of events has to be respected and he should go well. Supreme Hope is from the Henry Daly yard and he was returning from a 478-day break when running with some credit at Huntingdon last time, so he should come on for the run and could go well. However, Double Aspect looks an interesting newcomer to the hurdling ranks and is taken to score.
