In depth

Verdict

This is another tricky race for punters to call but O'Toole, Ken Scott and Golden Chalice all look to have solid claims and the last mentioned is given the vote. The selection ran really well last time when finishing second behind Conroy at Stratford. He proved that day that he handles; these conditions and if he can run up to that level again here then he will not be far away at the finish. O'Toole is at his best with a bit more cut in the ground and he was a little disappointing last time at Exeter when he could only finish in mid-division behind Commercial Flyer. On his best form he would have an obvious chance, but on this occasion we are happy to take him. Ken Scott ran well last time before fading so the drop back to this trip will play to his strengths and he should go well. Wild Is The Wind is from a top yard and is worth noting in the market, but Golden Chalice is in good form and is taken to score.
