Verdict

Sir Mark Prescott has his team in fine form and has won this race twice in the last five years. FINAL LIBERATION can add to his tally here as he ran out an easy winner at Nottingham last week and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to anchor him. Sancho Panza is 7lb higher than when scoring over C&D in May but should still be thereabouts, while Musselburgh winner Ghufa will be more at home in this company having been well beaten in a higher grade at Windsor last time. Treacle Tart and Dalhaan look more at home on the Polytrack nowadays.
