      Verdict

      TILL DAWN makes her belated seasonal debut and gets the vote on that basis. Placed on three occasions last year, there's a chance she's improved since and Tony Carroll's filly won't have to make much progress to land this poor contest. Instructress has shown little since winning her maiden last year, but Dangerous Illusion has been given a chance by the handicapper and is back on a more realistic mark. Cliffords Reprieve is hard to fancy but Neil Callan may cajole some improvement from the lightly-raced See Vermont.
