        Verdict

        Shaheer is selected in the finale, with Cragganmore Creek and Royal Premier also respected and worthy of consideration. That said, there is a suspicion that Royal Premier may just need this after being off since January. However, he does have a habit of putting in quick reappearances, so is one to keep tabs on when his fitness is proven. Cragganmore Creek has been in good form on the All Weather and is very well treated in comparison to his rating in that area. He obviously has a bit to prove, but is not without a chance if he adapts to the surface. Missie Baileys and Le Soleil have form that brings them into the argument for one of the places and neither can confidently be ruled out. It would, therefore, be noteworthy if either were strongly supported before the off. However, Shaheer has the most solid profile on offer and, despite still being a maiden on turf, he has gone close in better company than this and is fancied to be hard to beat today.
