In depth

Verdict

Turf is an unfamiliar surface for a few of these but we’ll take the chance that CRITIQUE handles the switch as his latest third at Wolverhampton under Tom Marquand is probably the best recent form on offer. Hidden Pearl may have needed her run over further here last month and John Berry gets plenty of winners here while Mahanakhon Power has a chance on the pick of his form. Flying Standard could also figure but Go On Gal was a surprise winner at Catterick on her first start for Sarah Humphrey and has run here several times in the past without winning.
