Verdict
Zameyla is hard to oppose here and gets the vote, with Chertsey and Crocolat possibly proving best of the rest. The form of the selection's second to Aricia at Newmarket last time stands out in this contest and it will be very surprising if she gets beaten. Turning to the others. Chertsey, whose dam is half-sister to the Chester Vase winner, Dutch Gold, could go well and Crocolat caught the eye when staying on late over 10 furlongs last time so it will be interesting to se how he adapts to the three-furlong drop in trip here. Keyaki has hinted at ability on both starts so far: Mary Carleton is hard to fancy based on her debut run, but Set Alight showed some promise at Newbury, although she will have had to have come on a lot for that effort to feature here. As we say, Zameyla ought to score.
