BRETT VALE found a step up to a similar trip exactly to his liking last time and Sir Mark Prescott's runner should follow up here in this handicap ahead of Venture Capitalist and Persian Tomcat. The pick ran out a ready seven length winner on his first effort over a longer distance having run over inadequate trips before hand. Given that the six pounds penalty is unlikely to stop him as it is likely he is still well ahead of the assessor. Venture Capitalist is still fairly treated after a good looking runners-up spot last time out off a pound lower. That was over a similar trip and he is unexposed enough to show us more this time. Persian Tomcat is up four pounds for a decent run of form in similarly poor company and is entitled to make a raid on the prize pot again. Valkyrie put in her best performance for some time on her last run ahead of a subsequent winner and she is still assessed fairly but Brett Vale does look the one to be with.
