Verdict
And Toto Too, Miss Madame and Lygeton Lad are the three against the field here, with the former just getting the nod. David Evans has his string in fine form this season and this daughter of Averti gained a deserved victory at Salisbury last time, just doing enough to win by three quarters of a length from In The Pink. She still looks on a handy mark and a follow up is a distinct possibility. Miss Madame can also boast a recent success, she got the better of Lady Mo on the turf at Lingfield last month, and ran well last week under a penalty at Brighton, she may provide the biggest threat to the selection. Lygeton Lad has been steadily dropping down the weights and ran a race full of promise here last week, his turn doesn't look far away. All in all a tricky contest, but And Toto Too looks the one to be on.
