Verdict
Seven furlongs will help Onlyfoalsandhorses while Ivan's A Star has experience racing on similar ground, but AJAAFA looks the one to beat. James Given's colt made a promising debut at Carlisle and, while not building on that since, this is a big drop in grade and it can see him score with a return to slower ground certainly of benefit; the going on his debut was closer to soft than the official description implies. Cinq Heavens has improved with racing and is tried in cheek-pieces while Angle Knight needs a look in the market with blinkers on as when Brian Meehan turns to headgear the decision often reaps rewards. History Repeating represents top connections and could do better but Ajaafa sets a fair standard.
