MAJOR MONTY ran a big race at Carlisle and off the same mark can go one better. Tom Dascombe's charge is tried in a visor for the first time and that may unlock the door to further improvement, while there's also a possibility that soft ground will assist him as he's related to a winner on ground with cut. Dreamacha makes her handicap debut and the pick of her three qualifying runs came on soft ground so she should be noted for support, Marafong has twice raced on ground with cut and has first time blinkers and the assistance of a talented 7lb claimer on board, while Force To Spend showed a modicum of promise last time and drops 2lbs in the ratings. Satin Princess is going the right way, albeit slowly, while Lady Brickhouse should enjoy the surface but it's Major Monty for us.
