Verdict
Kind Emperor is fancied to make all in this small field, with Satyr and Our Lady taken to chase him home. The selection is something of a Yarmouth specialist, having won three times here from nine attempts, including his course and distance success at the end of May. He may just have needed his run here a fortnight ago, and was far from disgraced behind Lucid Dreams in a much more competitive field. Satyr followed up an impressive win in an amateurs handicap at Newmarket with a decent second at Pontefract and looks the obvious forecast option. Fantasy Crusader faces a much stiffer task than when scraping home at Lingfield last time, and a bigger threat may come from Our Lady, who produced a much-improved performance to land a selling handicap over a mile here last time. Once again, though, this could be a tactical affair and Kind Emperor is taken to make all of the running for a fourth course victory.
