Maddy, Grit and Safebreaker are the three highest rated horses in the line-up and are the three to concentrate on; Maddy gets the vote. She had finished a couple of places in front of Safebreaker in a similar contest over course and distance last time and is 6lbs better off with that rival this afternoon so should have the beating of him. The ground was riding fast that day but she has form to her name with ease in the ground and knows how to win. Safebreaker clearly has something to find but Grit comes here on the back of a hardfought success and that may have done wonders for his confidence. He has something to prove on a softer surface but merits respect. Rock Me is worth a market check but few of the remainder have done enough to suggest that they can have a say and Maddy can fill the number one spot.
