In depth
Verdict
A tricky end to proceedings can go to Trevian, with a whole host of dangers including Pepper Road, Lord Chamberlain and Show Me The Lolly. A pin would probably come in handy here with so many in with chances, but the fact that Trevian lines up with a recent win to his credit augurs well for his chance, and Milton Bradley's four-year-old can add to his recent Chepstow success over The Gaikwar. The latter has since advertised the form, and although Trevian drops back a furlong he should be very much involved. Pepper Road is not badly treated and caught the eye with his effort at Carlisle, while Trevian's stablemate Lord Chamberlain got his head in front at Brighton in selling company and has a bit more to do now. Show Me The Lolly has been a model of consistency, and although finding one too good on the Wolverhampton Polytrack last time, has a good draw and a decent apprentice taking weight off, so is yet another to consider for a place at least. We reach for that pin again though and point to Trevian to follow up.
