        Verdict

        Inching is a tentative selection to beat Tokewanna, with Taiyo and On The Level seen as further dangers. Inching is related to some decent sprinters but has failed to get her head in front so far. She will however, benefit from the step back up to six furlongs here and can make experience count. Tokewanna remains a frustrating maiden and on breeding should be better over much further. Her fourth to Maddie's A Gem over the course and distance in August gives her a shout though. Taiyo made a very pleasing debut at York last year, but has had just the two runs this term and has probably been hard to get ready. She will come on for the outing. On The Level shaped as though the return to six furlongs was needed when staying on at Thirsk last time, and is another to warrant place claims, but for the winner we return to Inching, although bets should be kept on the small side.
