    Verdict

    Chalk Stream has a cracking pedigree being by Sea The Stars out of a Sadler’s Wells mare. His half-brother won over a mile as a juvenile but we may not see the best of him until next season and FRANCESCO GUARDI sets a high standard in a race like this. James Ferguson’s colt finished third in a Listed race at Newbury after winning at Salisbury and can defy his penalty. Forest Falcon has shown only modest ability so far but should finish ahead of Graystone.
