In depth
Verdict
A pretty tricky race if you were thinking of getting out, but it may pay to side with in-form Galaxy Thunderbird. The gelding broke his maiden tag over today's trip at Folkestone last time, when defeating Soltaat by a neck. A high draw might not be ideal, but with confidence soaring he can go in again of his current mark. Ivory Bay is another for the shortlist. A winner off this mark at Musselburgh in March, conditions were against him at Newcastle last time, and with the ground riding as perfect underfoot here on Tuesday, he is taken to turn in a much better performance. The filly Holly Rose would have a chance if she could reproduce the form of her Brighton win, though she does look exposed. Of the remainder, Rheinpark would have a chance on his recent Newmarket win, though he is an in-and-out performer, while It's Ecco Boy - one who is tried at all trips - would have chances for place money if putting in his best effort.
