Verdict

GREAT BEYOND turned a Wolverhampton handicap into a procession last time and has every chance of following up here if transferring that form back to Turf as he’s only 4lb higher. Protected Guest steps up in trip again but the form of his win over 1m2f here last month was franked when the second scored last week at Doncaster. Hamlul has started favourite in his last three starts but has only won one of these and is looking a few pounds too high. Three Weeks is having a first run on Turf but Bombyx will find this easier than the Group 3 he contested at Goodwood and he also makes more appeal than Shuhood.
