In depth

Verdict

A trappy affair with TEAMtalk preference given to the lightly-raced Ruby Wedding who put up his best performance when being outpaced close home at Kempton 11 days ago. He clearly enjoyed that step up in distance and will relish the fast ground here. Best of the rest is Knavesmire Omen who looks a typical Mark Johnston stayer. He races as though a step up in trip will suit. King Flyer is a tough stayer but does not win enough to merit selection here. Prospects Of Glory would have a major chance if he stays this extra half-mile but he will need a slow pace.
