The three-year-old Ventura Kingdom looked a likely future winner when a close fourth on his return to action in February but hasn't come up to expectations. Noble Queen, a winner at Chelmsford in October, is rarely beaten far though is 8lb higher here. SHYJACK (NAP), a winner over a mile at Kempton in January, has been staying on over that trip in his last two starts and was only beaten a short-head on fast ground here last summer so looks the one to beat. Turn Of Phrase ran poorly at Wolverhampton in January after a narrow defeat there a couple of weeks earlier.
