Whittle Le Woods landed a novices' event at Newcastle and was good value for his victory at Southwell. He has a mark of 80 for his handicap debut as do all the top four with course and distance winner Igotatext the most interesting if he handles the ground as he won first time out last season. One Over Par battled to a short-head victory in a novices' race at Newcastle while Billion's victory at Beverley came on fast ground. AHLAWI improved with each of his three runs in the autumn culminating in a victory at Chelmsford. He looks the type to do well this year and gets the nod over Eastern Delight, who is lurking at the bottom of the handicap after several decent efforts on the all-weather.
