        Verdict

        Sirjosh is a previous course and distance winner beating MARYOLINI in May, whilst Clerical runs under penalty and may struggle to get back-to-back wins and Baby Rock has room for improvement. Baby Rock finished runner-up last time behind Timeteam at Windsor and has progressed well in his two starts this year. Running off a similar mark again today and with a potentially improved run in the pipeline he could challenge, but clearly there are reservations that his last run was in a lowly Seller and returned to Handicap company we avoid him here. Sirjosh has beaten our pick before but has gone backwards since that victory. On the other hand, Maryolini has improved since coming plum last here in June and was only half a length behind the winner last time over five furlongs. Clerical comes here again looking for a repeat success but only won by a neck last time and may find this a tougher test with the weight he carries. We side with Maryolini who may be open to a better run today.
