      Verdict

      After winning at Redcar, HUGIN caught a tartar in Rodaini in a conditions race at Ripon. Both victories so far have come on a straight course so he’ll have conditions to suit again here. Mazyoun has never really fulfilled early promise and has only won on an artificial surface so far but the lightly-raced Whosyourhousemate may be capable of better and he’ll handle the going. Casina di Notte has yet to run a bad race here and won over course and distance last month while Working Class is also in good form and can’t be left out of calculations.
