Verdict

Stanley Crane has shown enough promise in two outings to warrant support here, with Naaddey and Rydal suggested as the main dangers. Ben Hanbury has had a decent season with his two-year-olds and the selection could be another winner for the stable. Strictly on the form book he should struggle to beat today's opponent Rydal, having finished just behind Gerard Butler's colt at Newmarket, however that was Stanley Cranes first outing and the stable's juveniles invariably improve from their debuts. These two also met at Lingfield, where Rydal had even more in hand, but the all weather form is a different kettle of fish and I can see Stanley Crane coming out on top today. Naaddey will be a big danger to both having taken on much better opposition recently. However a chance in taken with Stanley Crane, Naaddey and Rydal though, won't be far away.
