Verdict

Wiretap was successful over course and distance earlier this month but that was on soft going and this looks a much tougher assignment. Aweedram won at Newmarket and Ascot before a solid run in the Silver Bowl at Haydock. He bolted before the start of last week’s Britannia Handicap and was withdrawn but hopefully that hasn’t left any lasting effects. Destination is the least exposed and the form of his Kempton second is working out but Mark Johnston is adept at keeping his three-year-olds a step ahead of the handicapper and OASIS PRINCE has had excuses in both starts since rattling up a hat-trick in the spring. Mistress Of Love runs in her first handicap but has been well beaten in both starts this year.
