Hi Ho Silver was a well-beaten third when Epic Express won here in April but the top weight has been beaten twice since and is still 4lb higher. CLIPSHAM GOLD has gone up 2lb for a head defeat at Doncaster but a leading apprentice claims 5lb and Kevin Philippart De Foy’s three-year-old looks the one to beat. Lelabad has been threatening to get his head in front but Clement Danes was only third at Chepstow when making his handicap debut and has been left on the same mark.
