        Verdict

        John Dunlop has not had many juvenile runners this season but Coup D'Etat shaped with plenty of promise on his debut and is selected to lead them home here - with For Life, Querido and Reqqa others to note with interest for the future whatever happens during the race. Lubek - a half-brother to Desert Hawk is another that makes plenty of appeal on breeding and should benefit from the run as things unfold. For Life will benefit from the assistance of Kieren Fallon and support can virtually be assured for that reason alone. The son of Bachir hails from a yard that have a good strike-rate with their younger horses and he looks sure to be ready to go at the first time of asking. Whereas Querido, who represents Godolphin, looks bred for further and may have to settle more an educational outing today. Therefore, it may pay to side with experience and, as Coup D'Etat was not knocked about at Newmarket, he is fancied to hold all the aces here. The son of Diktat could have gone closer to ridding himself of the maiden tag if he had been granted a clear passage at headquarters and, with Kevin Darley again doing the steering, Coup D' Etat is fancied to make no mistake today.
