In depth
Verdict
An ordinary maiden where the usual monitoring of the market will be the best policy. However, Blue Tomato, who cost 50,000gns as a yearling, is taken to deliver on the promise that he showed on his debut in a decent maiden at Newbury in May. Ceasar and Riley Boys are yet to set the world alight so one of the newcomers may be the best option for the forecast. The booking of Jamie Spencer for Castelton could be significant and he is one watch out if supported. However, the speedily-bred Blue Tomato looks to be a winner waiting to happen and today could be the day.
