In depth

Verdict

Frankenstella won three of her last four last summer including over the course and distance. She'll be ready after a spin at Newcastle and should get into contention. Polish scored over hurdles at Newbury in February and a mark of 76 doesn't reflect his ability while Ben Lily may have found 1m5f on fast ground too short after completing a double with a victory over this trip at Doncaster. Sashenka looked the likely winner there when taking it up going well but was run out of it in the closing stages while Sharp Suited stays the trip well and is nicely weighted. Red Force One is up 5lb for landing a moderate contest at Ayr from today's rival Raymond while Cloud Thunder has been in good form though at a lower level. GENERAL ZOFF is an out-and-out stayer who won over the trip on Polytrack at Lingfield last month. He's up 3lb but Silvestre De Sousa can make good use of his light weight.
