In depth
Formwatch
Marweh Cause of some controversy earlier in the year, but should have his ideal conditions here. Beat the useful Continent by four lengths in his native France, so he obviously has ability when the ground is right for him.
Vicious Dancer Looks to be a little short of the mark in this company.
Hand Chime In fine form prior to a disappointing effort at Ascot last time, and not without a chance. High draw is slightly off-putting though.
Candleriggs (IRE) Good early pace and should appreciate the cut in the ground. However, he has become expensive to follow and is running out of excuses.
Seven No Trumps Very capable on his day but he is becoming an inconsistent performer and the ground may have turned against him.
Fantasy Believer In fine form this term and has been well treated by the draw, but may be better suited to a stiffer track.
Idle Power (IRE) Big disappointment in the Ayr Silver Cup last time, but is capable of a bold show if back on song. Not totally out of it.
Abbajabba Short of the mark this term and is best left alone for win only purposes.
Armagnac Good effort here in August, but is another who cannot be relied upon implicitly.
Rich Gift A little to prove with a few of these and is best watched.
Heathyardsblessing (IRE) Best watched on first try over six furlongs this term.
Danielle's Lad Likes to force the pace and is suited by some cut in the ground, but he has place prospects at best.
Fire Dome (IRE) Wins in his turn but he seems to have gone off the boil lately and is another who it may be best to leave out of any betting plans.
Polar Kingdom Good effort when third to Orientor here in June, and shaped as if back on song last time at Ascot. May go well at a big price.
Rudik (USA) He would have an excellent chance if repeating his effort in the Ayr Silver Cup, and this drop back to six furlongs is more in his favour than his last outing. He has a high cruising speed when on song and is one to place high on the shortlist.
Further Outlook (USA) Poor wins to runs ratio makes him opposable even though he goes well here and is well treated at the moment.
Sharp Hat Very capable performer who fared best of today's runners in Ayr's Silver Cup. He is holding his form well and is also one for the list.
Juwwi Needs little introduction and is sure to run his race, but although he is a course and distance winner, he will need the gaps to open for his style of running to effective in this company.
Glenrock Running well of late and any rain will help. He ran well enough here in August to suggest he has the capability to go close if on song.
Exeat (USA) Should handle the conditions but has always struggled in Handicap company.
Princess Almora Drawn well if getting away on terms but suspicion the slower ground may blunt her speed leaves her looking vulnerable.
Tom Tun Very tough and reliable, he goes on the ground and should run his race. However, he may well be feeling the effects of a long season and could be due a break
Lago di Varano Dropped like a stone in the ratings this term but he would be dangerous to dismiss now the ground has turned in his favour.
