Verdict
Ugo Gregory is preferred to Danzan of Tim Easterby’s pair but neither is particularly well drawn. Motagally’s best run this season came when second here in May but he’s reverted to type since. Oso Rapido was second over this trip at Thirsk two runs ago but does most of his racing over 6f and the yard also run the in-form Eldrickjones. Riot is almost guaranteed to run his race again but was behind Craven at Ayr and, despite worse terms, Richard Fahey’s three-year-old could confirm the form with Taylor Fisher’s mount preferred to stablemate No Nay Nicki at the weights. Thunder Roar was behind a couple of these here in July though can’t be ignored but KALGANOV (NAP) is on a roll and possibly still ahead of the handicapper so gets the nod with Yaaser high enough in the weights now.
