Verdict
The terms of today's race swing the pendulum in the favour of Golden Slica, with the unexposed Zee Zee Top rated a bigger danger than the consistent Aldora over this trip. The Mick Channon-trained seven-year-old is as game as they come and, after a fair display in defeat on her reappearance at Newmarket last month, she will be hard to master with that run under her belt. She is more suited to this sort of trip than Aldora and has plenty in her favour to add to her tally today. Zee Zee Top should find this trip well within her compass and a serious move for her will be significant. She holds Persian Lass on last season's form at Newmarket, and has more scope for improvement than Chorist, who may just need the run.
